Thanks to everyone who helped create a perfect day…
First of all, a special thanks to : Christian Hosoi who prayed with us and did a Christ Air on the Mini Ramp. Everyone was in awe with mouths wide open, and forgot to take pictures. It did happen though.
Ron Stebenne, from Bamboo Sk8 and Freestyle Promotions, instigated the day to draw everyone together on the last day of Spring Break 2010!
Thanks for carrying the torch and lighting the way, Ron…. Thanks to Chris Massey and Buddy Henley who erected the cross. Derek Jolly helped fund the Chik-Fil-A from Walnut Square Mall and the cow who skated ….and took remarkable pictures. DGK sent a ton of stuff for product toss and Independent NHS … Thanks to Kris Markovich who helped support the day…Alex and Tato who had an artistic design for the door and ramp, Eric Acosta for bringing the lights and sound equipment…Fifteen Five for having a great band….Glenda Ledford found a frame in the nick of time, and many others…Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. .
I enjoyed meeting Noah and his family…through having an identical Christian Hosoi tech deck. When they had a house fire, Noah’s tech deck remained unburnt, two weeks later he accepted Christ into his life, then he started skating and said, “I feel Christ beside me.” And now, Noah skates for Christ. Noah’s mom and dad listened to Hosoi preach and were saved and the baptismal party is May 2nd at the skate park after church at Cedar Hill Baptist Church, Ringold GA.
